When I found him I realized that he wouldn't make a pelt due to a severe case of mange. He was frozen stiff as a board so I stood him up against a small cedar tree and left him that way all day. That evening I went back and walked out to him and he had literally been shot to pieces. I thought it was a hoot to see all the foot prints that had walked out to retrieve this poor old coyote.
